- 20ft container — from £40/week. Room for a full production rig — big PA, full lighting plot, staging, merch and instruments — with walk-in aisle space so you are not unpacking the whole unit to reach one flight case.

Packing band gear for storage
Gear stored badly gets damaged even in the best unit. A few habits keep it gig-ready:
- Keep everything off the floor. Pallets or shelving stop case bases sitting in any condensation runoff — see our container packing tips for the full method.
- Pad and seal. Valves, tweeters and cymbals dislike knocks; flight cases exist for a reason. Keep boxes sealed against dust.
- Label every case. On a dark stage at midnight, “MIC 1–8” and “SNARE TOP/BOT” labels save an hour.
- Mind the damp. Manchester air is wet; a couple of silica tubs inside the container and ventilation left clear do more than you’d expect.
